Dr. Rania Al-Mashat Sworn In as Executive Secretary of UN ESCWA, Outlines New Regional Vision
Dr. Rania Al-Mashat officially took the oath of office before UN Secretary-General António Guterres, assuming her role as Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
Following the ceremony, Dr. Al-Mashat expressed her gratitude to the Secretary-General and UN member states for their profound confidence.
