Zoom Launches New Advanced Data Center in Saudi Arabia to Empower AI and Digital Transformation
Zoom Video Communications has announced a decisive step in its regional expansion with the launch of a new, advanced data center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Developed under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the launch event was attended by H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Suwaiyan, Governor of the Digital Government Authority (DGA), alongside senior representatives from Saudi Aramco.
The new data center is hosted within center3, a leading regional provider of neutral data centers and subsea cable systems that bridge Asia, Africa, and Europe.
An Extension of Strategic Investments This infrastructure expansion builds directly upon Zoom’s long-term commitments in the Kingdom, following a $75 million investment pledge aimed at fostering AI-driven innovation. The launch perfectly coincides with Saudi Arabia declaring 2026 as the "Year of AI" and celebrating the 10th anniversary of Saudi Vision 2030, underscoring Zoom’s commitment to driving digital maturity across KSA’s public and commercial sectors.
