US Dollar Records Collective Rise Against the Egyptian Pound in Wednesday Trading

The US Dollar (USD) witnessed a collective upward trend against the Egyptian Pound (EGP) during today's trading session across the majority of banks operating in the local market. The market saw varying upward movements in both buying and selling rates, while prices remained stable in only a limited number of banks.

The highest exchange rate for the US Dollar was recorded at 51.82 EGP for buying and 51.92 EGP for selling across several major institutions, including Suez Canal Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt (FABMISR), Crédit Agricole, Bank NXT, Industrial Development Bank, Kuwait Finance House, and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB).

Meanwhile, Egypt’s two largest state-owned banks, the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, along with Arab International Bank (AIB) and HSBC Egypt, recorded rates of 51.77 EGP for buying and 51.87 EGP for selling, reflecting the broader market's upward trajectory.
