10th of Ramadan City, Egypt Minister of Labor Hassan Raddad and the Governor of Sharkia, Eng. Hazem El-Ashmouni, attended the "Order of Pioneers" ceremony organized by the Oriental Weavers Group in the 10th of Ramadan City. The event honored 650 distinguished factory employees who have served the company for over 30 years, celebrating their extended journey of hard work, their contribution to national industry, and their embodiment of institutional excellence.

The ceremony was held in the presence of prominent figures, including former Minister of Labor and Head of the Manpower Committee in the House of Representatives, Mohamed Saafan; Yasmine Khamis, Chair of the Oriental Weavers Group; Farida Khamis, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the British University in Egypt and Al Shorouk Academy; and Eng. Alaa Abdel-Lah, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority.

Factory Tour and Production Insights The activities commenced with an inspection tour of the Oriental Weavers' factories. During the tour, the Minister of Labor and the Sharkia Governor reviewed the production processes and various manufacturing stages. They received a detailed briefing on the factories' capabilities, expansion plans, and the continuous upgrades implemented to boost production efficiency and enhance the global competitiveness of Egyptian products.

Official Statements Following the tour, the "Order of Pioneers" ceremony officially began. In his keynote address, Minister Raddad emphasized that the Egyptian state places unprecedented focus on the labor force, recognizing workers as the true driving force behind national development. He praised major national industrial institutions, led by Oriental Weavers, for creating job opportunities and bolstering the national economy.

Governor Hazem El-Ashmouni expressed his immense pride in participating in the event, noting that honoring dedicated workers is a vital message that reinforces loyalty and motivates newer generations. He reaffirmed the governorate's commitment to supporting investors and removing obstacles facing industrial projects.

Speaking on behalf of the organizing entity, Yasmine Khamis, Chair of Oriental Weavers, expressed her deep appreciation for the officials' support. She stated, "Thirty years or more is a long, monumental duration filled with enthusiasm, determination, and absolute success." She emphasized that the massive industrial empire of Oriental Weavers is the result of the hard work and vision spearheaded by the late founder and industry pioneer, Mr. Mohamed Farid Khamis.

The event concluded with Yasmine and Farida Khamis presenting the Oriental Weavers' honorary shields to the Minister, the Governor, and the Head of the City Authority, followed by commemorative photos with the honored employees. The ceremony was presented by Dr. Adel El-Yamany, Media Advisor to the Oriental Weavers Group.
