Mohamed El-Zomor: Dell Technologies Participates for Fifth Consecutive Year as Main Sponsor of CAISEC Amid Rising AI-Driven Cyber Threats
Dell Technologies is participating for the fifth consecutive year as a main sponsor of the CAISEC cybersecurity summit, reinforcing its commitment to supporting cybersecurity resilience and digital protection strategies amid the rapid escalation of AI-powered cyber threats worldwide.
Mohamed El-Zomor, General Manager of Dell Technologies in Egypt, said the company’s continued sponsorship of CAISEC reflects the growing importance of cybersecurity collaboration and the urgent need to strengthen digital defense capabilities across governments, institutions, and critical sectors.
El-Zomor emphasized that artificial intelligence is significantly reshaping the cybersecurity landscape by creating both advanced defensive capabilities and increasingly sophisticated cyberattack techniques.
“The accelerating adoption of artificial intelligence technologies has introduced new cybersecurity challenges that require stronger collaboration, advanced infrastructure, and more proactive digital defense strategies,” El-Zomor stated.
He added that cyber threats are becoming more complex due to the growing use of AI-powered attack mechanisms, automated threat generation, deepfake technologies, and advanced social engineering techniques targeting institutions and digital infrastructure.
According to El-Zomor, major cybersecurity events such as CAISEC play a critical role in bringing together technology leaders, governments, cybersecurity experts, and global companies to exchange expertise and discuss emerging digital risks.
Dell Technologies is expected to showcase a range of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and data protection solutions during the summit, focusing on helping organizations improve resilience, operational continuity, and digital readiness.
The company also highlighted the increasing importance of integrating AI-powered analytics, real-time threat detection systems, and zero-trust security architectures within enterprise cybersecurity frameworks.
CAISEC has evolved into one of the largest cybersecurity and digital sovereignty events across Africa and the Middle East, attracting regional governments, international cybersecurity agencies, technology vendors, and industry experts.
This year’s edition focuses heavily on AI-driven cyber threats, digital sovereignty, deepfake risks, security operations centers (SOC), cloud security, and emerging governance challenges associated with autonomous AI systems.
Industry experts expect artificial intelligence to remain one of the most influential factors shaping cybersecurity strategies globally over the coming years as organizations increasingly accelerate digital transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.
