Kazyon Branches Resume Operations After First Day of Eid Al-Adha Holiday
Kazyon branches resumed operations across various governorates starting from the second day of Eid Al-Adha after the temporary closure observed during the first day of the holiday, as retail activity gradually returns to normal during the festive period.
The reopening comes amid continued consumer demand for food products, household supplies, beverages, and daily essentials during Eid celebrations, with supermarkets witnessing steady shopping traffic across several areas.
Retail sector observers noted that many supermarket chains in Egypt traditionally reduce or suspend operations during the first day of Eid before resuming work gradually over the following days to balance holiday schedules and growing consumer demand.
Kazyon remains among Egypt’s largest discount retail chains, operating an extensive network of branches nationwide and serving millions of consumers through low-cost grocery and household products.
The Egyptian retail market typically experiences strong commercial activity during Eid Al-Adha, supported by increased household spending and seasonal shopping linked to family gatherings and holiday preparations.
