Giza Governor and Agricultural Bank of Egypt Discuss Joint Development and ”Sikkat Kheir” Social Initiative

Dr. Ahmed Al-Ansari, Governor of Giza, received a delegation from the Agricultural Bank of Egypt (ABE) this evening at the governorate’s headquarters to discuss avenues for strengthening joint cooperation and supporting community and developmental initiatives aimed at improving citizens' living standards.

During the meeting, the Governor was briefed on the humanitarian initiative launched by ABE under the title "Sikkat Kheir" (The Path of Goodness). As part of the bank's corporate social responsibility, the initiative provides food commodity vouchers for distribution to the most vulnerable and eligible low-income families in Giza. These purchasing vouchers are designed to help families secure their basic food necessities ahead of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha, thereby easing financial burdens and bringing joy to citizens.

Governor Ahmed Al-Ansari emphasized that Giza Governorate spares no effort in supporting community and humanitarian initiatives, particularly those targeting highly vulnerable groups. He highlighted the governorate's commitment to consolidating cooperation with various national institutions and the banking sector to drive development plans and expand the social safety net. Al-Ansari also praised ABE's ongoing developmental role and community contributions.

Mohamed El-Sisi, ABE’s Chief Executive of Administrative and Engineering Affairs, explained that the "Sikkat Kheir" initiative falls within the bank's corporate social responsibility strategy. The framework aims to achieve a sustainable developmental and community impact through programs that directly improve citizens' quality of life and living standards.

Furthermore, the two parties discussed available investment opportunities in Giza Governorate, exploring ways the bank can support these opportunities through its diverse financing programs to back state efforts in achieving sustainable development.

The Agricultural Bank of Egypt delegation included: Mohamed El-Sisi, Chief Executive of Administrative and Engineering Affairs; Major General Ahmed Maarek, Head of the Security Group; Magda Mounir, Head of the Greater Cairo Region; Noha Shawky, Head of the External Relations Sector; and Mohamed Hafez, General Manager of Media.
