Amer Group Holding Q1 2026 Net Profit Surges 500% to EGP 90.16 Million
The consolidated financial statements of Amer Group Holding (Amer Group) for the first quarter of 2026 revealed strong profit growth, driven by higher revenues and improved gross and operating profit margins.
The company stated in a disclosure to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) that its net profit jumped to EGP 90.16 million during the three months ending March 31, 2026, compared to EGP 15.02 million during the comparable period of 2025, marking a growth rate of 500%. Concurrently, company revenues increased to EGP 398.33 million during Q1 2026, versus EGP 316.19 million during the corresponding quarter of 2025, an increase of approximately 26%. Gross profit also ascended to EGP 196.28 million by the end of March 2026, compared to EGP 134.40 million during the same period last year, reflecting a growth of around 46%.
Earnings Breakdown
The company recorded an operating profit of EGP 114.46 million during the first quarter of 2026, up from EGP 65.08 million during Q1 2025, achieving a growth rate of approximately 75.9%. On the pre-tax profit level, Amer Group’s earnings rose to EGP 117.10 million during the first three months of 2026, compared to EGP 22.16 million during the comparable period of 2025.
Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company stood at EGP 58.61 million during Q1 2026, compared to EGP 4.31 million during the corresponding quarter of 2025, a surge of 1259%. Meanwhile, non-controlling interests recorded a profit of EGP 31.55 million, compared to EGP 10.70 million during the same period last year.
Statement of Financial Position
On the balance sheet level, total assets rose to EGP 12.48 billion by the end of March 2026, compared to EGP 12.03 billion at the end of December 2025. Total equity reached approximately EGP 2.33 billion by the end of March 2026, against EGP 2.34 billion at the close of December 2025, while total liabilities amounted to EGP 10.15 billion compared to EGP 9.79 billion at the end of last year.
Furthermore, earnings per share (EPS) attributable to the parent company’s shareholders reached EGP 0.056 during Q1 2026, compared to EGP 0.004 in the comparable period of 2025.
