Dubai-Based Lyrie ai Emerges from Stealth with $2M Seed Funding to Secure AI Agent Economy
Lyrie ai, an autonomous cybersecurity platform headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, announced it has raised $2 million in a seed funding round as it officially emerges from stealth mode. The capital injection aims to accelerate the development of its technical architecture and scale its specialized security solutions for artificial intelligence systems.
The company plans to utilize the funding to optimize its platform, expand its cybersecurity research team, and promote the adoption of the "Agent Trust Protocol" across its platform and partner network, focusing on building a dedicated security layer for AI agents. Headquartered in Dubai, the startup is concurrently preparing for a Series A funding round to drive expansion into government enterprises and large corporate markets, while increasing the adoption of its solutions in institutional environments.
During the announcement, the company unveiled the "Agent Trust Protocol," an open security standard specifically engineered for AI agents. The protocol is designed to manage agent identity, permissions, security verification, authorization, and access control across diverse systems.
The company explained that the protocol will be available for free utilization, with plans to subsequently submit it to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) for review and consideration as a global industry standard. Lyrie ai envisions this protocol serving as a foundational trust and security layer for the AI agent economy, drawing a parallel to the pivotal role that SSL/TLS protocols played in securing internet communications and websites.
Guy Chitrit, Founder and CEO of OTT Cybersecurity LLC, stated that the AI agent economy is currently being constructed without a clear security foundation. He pointed out that today's agents lack mechanisms for identity definition, permission scoping, and tamper detection—vulnerabilities that the company seeks to address through an open protocol that can be widely adopted across the industry.
Operating from its headquarters in Dubai, OTT Cybersecurity LLC develops the Lyrie ai platform to provide a dedicated security infrastructure for AI systems and intelligent agents. The company is led by its founder, Guy Chitrit, who possesses extensive expertise in cybersecurity and digital infrastructure across enterprise and government markets within the UAE, the United States, and other global markets.
