Ghoneim Development Group opens Ghoneim Square in Mokattam to contribute to the development of the area
Ghoneim Development Group inaugurated Ghoneim Square (GDG) on Counselor Abdel Meguid Mahmoud Axis in the Mokattam district. This initiative is part of the group's ongoing efforts to contribute to the city's development and enhance its aesthetic and service quality, reflecting its belief in the private sector's role as a key partner in supporting development and improving the quality of life.
The inauguration was attended by Engineer Kamal Ghoneim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the group, Islam Ghoneim, Vice Chairman and CEO, along with Engineer Walid Shawky, Head of the Mokattam District, and several other leaders and members of the group's team.
Engineer Kamal Ghoneim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ghoneim Development Group, emphasized that contributing to the square's development stems from the company's vision of actively participating in the development of vital areas in the Mokattam district and enhancing its urban landscape to keep pace with the scale of development witnessed by the Egyptian state in infrastructure and urban development.
He pointed out that the square's opening reflects the group's continuous commitment to participating in building a sophisticated urban environment befitting the residents of Mokattam. He affirmed that the group believes true development begins with caring for both the place and its people, and developing the areas surrounding projects, considering the project as an integral part of its surrounding community.
He added that Ghoneim Development Group has played a significant role over the past years in supporting the infrastructure of modern Egypt, through the implementation of more than 20 diverse projects, including residential, administrative, and industrial developments, within the Mokattam area. This reflects the group's strong confidence in the area and its belief in its investment and development opportunities.
He continued, "The opening of this square stems from our group's belief in the importance of the private sector's social role as a key partner in achieving sustainable development. We are working diligently to expand development efforts in our projects and surrounding areas, so that we can all witness the creation of more organized, developed, and higher-quality communities."
Islam Ghoneim, Vice Chairman and CEO of the group, stated that cooperation between the private sector and executive bodies has become a key element in achieving genuine sustainable development. He pointed out that the project was implemented in cooperation with the Mokattam District Authority, in a model that reflects the importance of integrated roles to serve citizens and improve the level of public services and facilities.
He thanked the leadership of the Al-Muqattam district for their support and cooperation during the project implementation phases, stressing that the group will continue to launch more development initiatives aimed at supporting the city and raising its efficiency in the coming period.
