ITIDA Organizes Software Testing Day 4th Edition with Strong Focus on AI
The Software Engineering Competence Center (SECC), part of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), is organizing the fourth edition of Software Testing Day on May 11 at Creativa Innovation Hub in Giza. The day is hosted with the support of the Egyptian Software Testing Board (ESTB), and as part of the ISTQB®️ Conference Network.
This year’s event takes place under the theme “Shaping the Future of Intelligent Testing in the Age of AI.” It highlights the role of AI in reshaping software testing processes, improving digital product quality, and contributing to the competitiveness of Egypt’s software industry in global markets.
The event serves as a platform for exchanging expertise, showcasing global best practices in software, and supporting software developers and testing specialists while enhancing their skills in line with the latest global standards. It brings together local and international experts, practitioners, and innovators from the software testing community.
The day includes panel discussions and live demos delivered by local and international experts, focusing on the future of testing, automation, and intelligent analytics. A dedicated competition will be held to showcase innovative ideas, from early prototypes to fully functional software solutions addressing real-world challenges in software testing.
The event is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and ITIDA to support the growth of Egypt’s software industry, enhance its competitiveness in regional and global markets, and contribute to the expansion of digital exports and the development of a knowledge-based digital economy.
Established in 2001, SECC serves as the technical and knowledge arm of ITIDA. It is an internationally accredited body that provides technical consulting and certification services to software companies, helping improve software development processes and promote the adoption of global standards in software engineering.
