Cityscape Egypt 2026 launches the third edition of the Egypt PropTech Challenge in collaboration with Flat6Labs

Cityscape Egypt announced a partnership agreement with Flat6Labs, the leading platform for building entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial communities in the Middle East and Africa, which leads some of the region's most prominent startup support programs, to launch the third edition of the Egypt PropTech Challenge.

The agreement was signed by Robert Daniel, Exhibition Director of Cityscape Egypt, and Sherif Hassan, Head of Marketing and Communications at Flat6Labs, in the presence of Karim Marwan, Senior Community and Communications Manager at Flat6Labs, and several representatives from both sides. This step underscores both parties' commitment to supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the real estate development sector and developing future digital solutions.

This partnership comes as part of Cityscape Egypt's preparations to host the third edition of the challenge during the Cityscape exhibition, scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 3, 2026, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center. This reinforces the exhibition's position as a regional platform that brings together investment and innovation and supports various stakeholders in the real estate ecosystem.

Robert Daniel, Exhibition Director of Cityscape Egypt, said: “The continuity and growth of the Egypt PropTech Challenge reflects our commitment to supporting innovation and accelerating digital transformation in the real estate sector. This year, the challenge expands its scope beyond the region, in partnership with Flat6Labs, to empower startups to emerge, build strategic partnerships, and benefit from evaluations by a judging panel comprised of investors and experts in venture capital and digital transformation. This will support the development of their business models and the expansion of their presence in Egypt, the Gulf markets, and Africa, reinforcing Cityscape’s role as a platform that supports sector growth and empowers entrepreneurship and innovation.”

Sherif Hassan, Head of Marketing and Communications at Flat6Labs, added: “For the past fifteen years, our mission has been to build strong entrepreneurial communities in emerging markets, and we continue to achieve this through our partnership with Cityscape this year. We look forward to creating real opportunities that connect startups with investors and contribute to driving the innovation ecosystem to new levels of impact and growth.”

This year, the Egypt PropTech Challenge aims for regional and international expansion, reinforcing its position as one of the world's leading platforms specializing in real estate technology. It provides startups with direct interaction with a select group of investors and venture capital experts, supporting the development of their business models and the building of effective strategic partnerships.

The challenge offers an innovative competitive space for entrepreneurs to showcase their transformative technological solutions for the real estate and urban development sector. It features startups from Egypt, the Gulf region, and Africa, specializing in real estate technology (PropTech), building technology (ConTech), smart cities, facilities management, and sustainability.

Finalists will receive mentorship from industry experts and the opportunity to present their solutions to leading investors and decision-makers during the exhibition, enhancing their growth and expansion prospects in regional markets. Winners will also receive exclusive benefits, including showcasing their innovations to industry leaders, a free exhibition booth at Cityscape Egypt 2027 for direct engagement with thousands of potential clients, and access to premium workspaces through innovation partner WRK+.  The parent brand of both The GrEEK Campus and MQR, along with other benefits and opportunities that support their careers.
