Telecom Egypt (WE) Signs MoU with Times Developments to Deliver Integrated Telecom and Smart City Solutions
Telecom Egypt (WE), Egypt’s first integrated telecommunications and information technology operator, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Times Developments to provide integrated telecommunications solutions and smart city services across all of the developer’s projects.
This agreement aligns with Telecom Egypt’s strategy to expand the deployment of advanced telecom services and smart solutions within new real estate developments, meeting growing customer demand and supporting Egypt’s broader digital transformation agenda.
The MoU was signed by Adham Koraien, General Manager of Compounds and Key Accounts Sales at Telecom Egypt, and Ahmed Farid El-Sergany, Chief Executive Officer of Times Developments.
Under the agreement, Telecom Egypt will implement the full technological infrastructure for Times Developments’ projects, including the deployment of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks. These networks will enable high-speed internet, voice services, and a wide range of integrated telecommunications and smart city solutions across residential, administrative, and commercial units.
Adham Koraien stated that the partnership reflects Telecom Egypt’s commitment to advancing the real estate sector by integrating the latest telecommunications technologies and smart city solutions, while also highlighting the strong trust placed in the company by leading real estate developers in Egypt.
