Telecom Egypt signs a memorandum of understanding with Mercon Real Estate Development to provide integrated telecommunications solutions in a number of its projects
Telecom Egypt WE, the first integrated operator of ICT services in Egypt, signed a memorandum of understanding with Mercon Real Estate Development Company, to provide the latest integrated telecommunications solutions and smart city services within the Riverton project in the fifth settlement and the Days project on the North Coast, as part of the company's strategy to expand to support the digital infrastructure of new urban communities and enhance their readiness for digital transformation.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Adham Qareen, Head of Closed Urban Communities Sales Sector, Telecom Egypt, and Eng. Ahmed Mbabi, Chairman and Managing Director of Mercon Real Estate Development Company.
Under the agreement, Telecom Egypt provides fiber optic services to residential units (FTTH) to contribute to enhancing the customer experience within these projects.
Mr. Adham Qurain stressed that the signing of the MoU comes within the framework of Telecom Egypt's strategy to support the real estate sector with the latest telecommunications technologies and smart city solutions, pointing out that this partnership reflects the confidence that the company enjoys with major real estate developers in the Egyptian market.
He added that this step reflects Telecom Egypt's commitment to continue deploying integrated telecommunications services within modern real estate projects, to meet the growing needs of customers, and in line with the rapid development in telecommunications technologies, as well as support the country's trend towards digital transformation.
