The new offerings cater to diverse investor needs, featuring both fixed and floating rates. The flagship "Monthly Floating Certificate" offers a standout annual return of 19.50% (Corridor-linked + 0.50%), while the "Daily Floating Certificate" provides a 19.25% return with daily payouts, accessible with a low entry barrier of just EGP 1,000.
For investors seeking stability, CIB introduced a 17.50% Fixed Monthly Certificate with a minimum purchase of EGP 50,000. Strategically positioned as a stable alternative to volatile mutual funds and precious metals, these products offer superior liquidity through a tiered early-redemption fee structure—starting at 2.5% and dropping to 1% by the third year. Additionally, the bank is offering credit facilities and credit cards secured by these certificates with zero issuance fees for a limited time, enhancing the total value proposition for retail and corporate clients alike.
