CIB Foundation Partners with Al Joud Foundation to Fund 300 Specialized Pediatric Surgeries at Al Nas Hospital
The CIB Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB), has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Al Joud Foundation (Al Nas Hospital) to finance an integrated medical project. With a total funding of EGP 75 million, the initiative aims to perform 300 specialized surgeries for underprivileged children. The agreement was signed in the presence of Mr. Hisham Ezz Al-Arab, CEO and Board Member of CIB Egypt, and Mr. Amr El-Ganainy, Deputy CEO and Executive Board Member, alongside Mr. Ayman Abbas, Treasurer of Al Joud Foundation.
Mr. Hisham Ezz Al-Arab emphasized that this agreement represents a qualitative step in CIB’s developmental journey, noting that supporting pediatric healthcare is a strategic priority that directly impacts the creation of a healthier and more sustainable society. The project includes 150 pediatric cardiac procedures—ranging from catheterizations to delicate surgeries—and 150 gastrointestinal surgeries, ensuring that high-quality medical services are accessible to those most in need.
