Valeo Egypt to Triple AI Workforce as New Global Development Center Commences Operations
Following the recent inauguration of its Artificial Intelligence Development Center, Valeo has announced an aggressive roadmap to scale its technical workforce in Egypt. The center has officially begun operations with an elite team of 35 AI engineers, with a strategic commitment to expand to over 100 specialists in the coming months. This expansion is designed to tap into Egypt’s competitive pool of software talent to accelerate the integration of AI across Valeo’s global production lines and R&D projects.
"The Cairo AI center is a pivotal node in our global network," a Valeo spokesperson stated. "By scaling our team here, we are ensuring that next-generation software—from autonomous driving algorithms to intelligent cabin systems—is being co-authored by Egyptian engineers." The focus on "Inference" and "Deep Learning" training underscores Valeo's shift toward high-value software exports, reinforcing Egypt’s position as a top-tier destination for specialized engineering offshoring.
