Daltex Chairman Praises ”Mustaqbal Misr” for Revolutionizing Egypt’s Agricultural Export Capacity
Samir El Naggar, Chairman of Daltex, one of Egypt’s leading agricultural exporters, has lauded the "Future of Egypt" (Mustaqbal Misr) Agency for its pivotal role in land reclamation and sustainable development. Speaking on the integration between the state and the private sector, El Naggar highlighted that the agency’s model—offering reclaimed land to private enterprises—has significantly boosted national production. This strategic move is especially beneficial for small exporters who previously lacked the resources to own vast agricultural lands, thereby creating a more inclusive and competitive export ecosystem.
El Naggar emphasized that the agency’s swift decision-making and operational efficiency have led to unprecedented results during a challenging global economic period. By prioritizing strategic crops like wheat alongside high-value export produce, the project is effectively reducing Egypt’s import bill while securing a steady flow of foreign currency.
