Banque Misr Impacts 3,500 Children Across 15 Governorates in Nationwide Orphans’ Day Celebration

Banque Misr and its Foundation for Community Development have successfully concluded a large-scale initiative celebrating Orphans’ Day in 15 Egyptian governorates. The event, which reached approximately 3,500 children, underscores the bank's leadership in community service and its commitment to Egypt's Vision 2030 for sustainable development. In Cairo and Giza alone, over 600 children participated in interactive activities at the Child Museum for Civilization and Creativity, attended by Dr. Ali El-Saidi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Banque Misr Foundation.

The initiative highlights Banque Misr’s strategic shift toward high-impact social investment, having allocated EGP 1.5 billion in 2025 toward health, education, and social solidarity. The nationwide celebrations—extending from Alexandria to Aswan—were characterized by active volunteerism, with bank employees and their families personally engaging with the children. This hands-on approach reflects a corporate culture that prioritizes human development and holistic empowerment, ensuring that social responsibility remains a core pillar of the bank’s operational identity.
