Egypt’s Military Production Minister Orders AI Nucleus at Toya Technology to Drive Digital Transformation
Dr. Eng. Salah Soliman Jumblatt, Minister of State for Military Production, has mandated the establishment of a specialized Artificial Intelligence (AI) unit within Toya Technology, a subsidiary specialized in information systems. During an inspection tour, the Minister emphasized that the new team will focus on integrating AI into data analysis, digital platform management, and industrial operation support. This move is part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to modernize its digital infrastructure and enhance the operational efficiency of its affiliate companies.
The Minister also reviewed the company's cybersecurity advancements, noting its certification from the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA). He stressed the importance of utilizing AI to secure networks and internal communications (ERP systems), ensuring high-speed data exchange while maintaining the highest standards of digital safety. This initiative aligns with Egypt’s national vision to localize advanced technology and fortify its cybersecurity framework against evolving global threats.
