AfterQuery Secures $30M Series A at $300M Valuation to Scale Human-Centric AI Data

AfterQuery, the U.S.-based specialist in advanced AI data solutions, has successfully closed a $30 million Series A funding round, bringing its market valuation to $300 million. Led by Altos Ventures with participation from The Raine Group, Y Combinator, and BoxGroup, the round highlights the surging demand for high-quality, expert-verified data in the AI industry. Founded just 14 months ago in 2025, the company has already surpassed an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $100 million, reflecting its critical role in solving the "data bottleneck" for major AI labs.

AfterQuery provides advanced infrastructure for Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), utilizing a vast network of 100,000 certified experts to codify specialized knowledge in finance, medicine, and law. CEO Spencer Mateja stated that this funding will accelerate the company's mission to make years of human expertise accessible through scalable AI models. By transforming institutional knowledge into high-fidelity training sets, AfterQuery is enabling the next generation of LLMs to simulate human reasoning in highly complex domains.
