Seizer for Clean Energy Transport has officially initiated the pilot phase of its new mass transit service in Alexandria, strategically designed to serve the vital corridor previously managed by the Raml Tram. Spanning 11 kilometers from Mahatet El Raml to Victoria, the new route features 19 major stations and utilizes high-tech, eco-friendly buses. According to Eng. George Michael, CEO of Seizer Smart Transport Systems, the fleet is equipped with GPS tracking, Wi-Fi, and climate control to ensure a seamless and punctual commuting experience.
This modern transit solution integrates advanced digital payment options, allowing passengers to pay via Visa, e-wallets, or cash. To support the local community, Seizer is offering a 30% discount for students and flexible monthly subscriptions. By aligning its pricing—ranging from 7 to 10 EGP—with traditional tram fares, Seizer aims to democratize access to premium, sustainable transport while significantly reducing the city’s carbon footprint.
