National Bank of Egypt and MSMEDA Ink Strategic Pact to Fuel SME Growth and Financial Inclusion
In a major step toward bolstering Egypt’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, Mohamed El-Etreby, CEO of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), and Bassil Rahmy, CEO of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance support for the SME sector. The signing ceremony was attended by NBE’s Deputy CEO Soha El-Turky, alongside senior officials Nader Saad and Mohamed Medhat.
Mohamed El-Etreby emphasized that this partnership aligns with NBE’s national role in driving comprehensive development, placing SMEs at the forefront of the bank’s priorities. The collaboration aims to create a supportive environment for business growth, increasing the sector’s contribution to the GDP and fostering sustainable job creation. The agreement focuses on providing integrated financial solutions and innovative banking services tailored to the diverse needs of Egyptian entrepreneurs.
