Sahl, Egypt’s leading e-payment platform, is looking for a meticulous and driven General Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As we continue to scale, we need a professional who is passionate about numbers and committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management: Maintain the Chart of Accounts, record journal entries, and ensure accurate transaction classification.
Month-End & Year-End Closing: Execute timely closings, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany reconciliations.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
Asset Management: Manage fixed asset registers, including additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation.
Reporting & Compliance: Assist in preparing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and support external audits and tax filings (VAT & Sales Tax).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
