Gulf Air Extends Temporary Dammam Operations Through April 2026 Amid Regional Airspace Closures

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the extension of its temporary operational hub at King Fahd International Airport (DMM) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, until the end of April 2026. The decision follows continued airspace restrictions in Bahrain and parts of the region.

Under this emergency schedule, Gulf Air will operate flights from Dammam to London Heathrow until April 11, 2026. Services to other key international destinations—including Mumbai, Nairobi, Cairo, Chennai, Bangkok, Casablanca, and Manila—will continue through April 30, 2026. To ensure seamless travel, Gulf Air is providing dedicated ground transportation between Bahrain and Dammam for passengers with confirmed bookings. Additionally, the airline is facilitating exclusive Saudi transit visa support for Bahrain-bound travelers using its organized shuttle services.
