Majid Al Futtaim Expands Ramadan Outreach in Egypt with Food, Clothing, and Community Support Initiatives

Majid Al Futtaim marked the holy month of Ramadan in Egypt through a series of community-driven initiatives aimed at supporting families in need, reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The company launched three key initiatives across its shopping malls in collaboration with employees, retail partners, and charitable organizations. These efforts focused on delivering essential aid to vulnerable communities during the festive season.

As part of the “We’ve Got Your Back” initiative, Majid Al Futtaim distributed 1,600 Ramadan boxes to mall staff. In partnership with 180 Degrees Foundation, the company also prepared and delivered 750 hot meals to underserved individuals.

Additionally, in collaboration with Egyptian Clothing Bank, more than 200 Eid clothing kits were distributed to underprivileged families. The initiative was supported by donation points across the company’s malls, allowing visitors to contribute clothing ahead of Eid al-Fitr.

Rasha Azab, Managing Director – Shopping Malls, Egypt and Lebanon at Majid Al Futtaim, said Ramadan represents a time for connection and collective generosity, noting that the company’s teams and partners worked together to extend meaningful support to a wider number of families this year.

Beyond Ramadan, Majid Al Futtaim continues to support local communities through ongoing partnerships with organizations such as Egyptian Food Bank and initiatives like Orphans’ Day, further strengthening its long-term social impact across Egypt.
