Palo Alto Networks Launches “Prisma Browser for Business” to Secure SMB Work Environments

Palo Alto Networks has announced the launch of its new “Prisma Browser for Business,” a secure work environment designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The solution enables organizations to easily configure and manage applications and AI tools, while allowing employees to work securely from any device and location.

The browser provides advanced protection against phishing attacks, malware, and fraud, alongside built-in AI controls that help prevent business data leakage or unauthorized access.

Today, SMBs rely on an average of 36 browser-based applications, making the browser the primary workspace for daily operations. With 95% of organizations experiencing security incidents originating from web browsers, the need for a more secure environment has become increasingly critical. At the same time, the growing adoption of AI tools has added complexity to managing digital workspaces, creating new challenges for businesses in safeguarding their operations.

Anupam Upadhyaya, Senior Vice President of Product Management at Palo Alto Networks, said:
“The browser has effectively become the workplace for most SMBs—where they engage with customers, manage finances, and leverage AI tools to drive growth. However, traditional browsers were not built to defend against modern cyber threats or prevent AI-driven data leakage. With Prisma Browser for Business, we are delivering enterprise-grade security within a user-friendly and easy-to-manage environment, with flexible pricing tailored to SMB needs.”

The Prisma Browser for Business offers a secure workspace designed to support SMBs through:

Workspace management: Simplifies the setup and control of applications and AI tools, enabling secure work from any device or location.

Business protection: Defends against phishing, malware, and AI-powered fraud before they impact operations.

AI usage control: Enables teams to leverage AI tools productively while preventing data leakage or unauthorized access.

As a global cybersecurity leader, Palo Alto Networks processes billions of threats daily for major enterprises worldwide. These advanced protection capabilities are now accessible to SMBs through a dedicated, secure browser environment tailored to their needs.
