Egypt Launches 12th Cohort of Cybersecurity Entrepreneurs Program for University Students and Graduates
The Cybersecurity Prosecution Unit at National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, in collaboration with the Business Incubator of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University, has opened applications for the 12th cycle of the Cybersecurity Entrepreneurs Program, aiming to nurture Egyptian university students and graduates with innovative cybersecurity projects and ideas.
The program seeks to train a new generation of cybersecurity entrepreneurs by providing specialized technical training covering critical areas such as secure digital transformation, fintech and emerging technology protection, data classification and protection, cyber defense building, cybersecurity governance, child online safety, secure design, supply chain and industrial control system security, AI model protection and application in cybersecurity, as well as securing 5G applications.
Subhead: Entrepreneurship and Professional Mentorship
Participants will also receive training in entrepreneurship and professional mentorship to help transform their ideas and projects into scalable startups, fostering the growth of Egyptian companies specializing in cybersecurity solutions and related technologies.
At the conclusion of the program, trainees will receive an accredited certificate. Winning teams will gain a comprehensive support package, including patent registration, intellectual property protection, company incorporation support, specialized legal consulting, and the opportunity to participate in the incubator’s demo day.
