Gold Prices Decline Sharply in Egypt Amid Weekly Market Correction
Gold prices in the Egyptian market witnessed a notable decline during trading this week. After starting on an upward trend, prices entered a sharp correction phase, leading to a clear drop.
The price of 21-karat gold, the most widely traded, recorded around EGP 6,910 per gram in today’s trading, compared to EGP 7,425 at the end of last week—marking a decrease of about EGP 515 within one week, according to data from the “iSagha” platform
Meanwhile, 18-karat gold fell to EGP 5,923 from EGP 6,364, while 24-karat gold declined to EGP 7,897 compared to EGP 8,486 last week.
