Ingenico has partnered with Visa to enhance value for existing and future customers while expanding their global reach through a new integrated payments solution.

The collaboration combines Ingenico’s AXIUM Android-based smart point-of-sale (POS) devices with Visa Acceptance Platform, including payment gateway and risk management services. The joint offering is designed to streamline payment acceptance across both physical and digital channels.

Leveraging Visa’s extensive expertise in e-commerce, the partnership will enable Ingenico to expand its innovative payment options, deliver seamless online transactions, and provide scalable omnichannel solutions tailored to diverse customer needs. At the same time, Ingenico brings its strong in-store payment capabilities through the AXIUM Android platform, which offers advanced functionality and user-friendly interfaces.

A key component of the collaboration is a platform that includes pre-certified technical integration alongside Visa Acceptance Platform. This significantly reduces time-to-market while ensuring compliance with multiple industry standards and payment regulations.

The solution is expected to support a wide range of use cases across large retailers, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the restaurant sector, while also enabling independent software vendors (ISVs) to build and deploy payment-enabled applications more efficiently.
