Egypt’s Telecom Regulator Releases Q4 2025 Mobile Service Quality Report
The National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has released the results of its mobile network quality assessment for the fourth quarter of 2025 (October–December), based on extensive field tests covering voice calls and data services across a total distance of 145,000 kilometers.
The measurements were conducted across cities, villages, and both main and secondary roads to ensure comprehensive coverage. The report relied on a set of key performance indicators. For voice services, these included call setup failure rates, call drop rates, call setup time, and voice clarity.
For data services, the assessment focused on download and upload speeds, particularly for the lowest-performing 10% of samples.
The report aims to evaluate the level of service provided by mobile operators in the Egyptian market, identify potential shortcomings, and support ongoing efforts to enhance user experience and improve overall service efficiency.
