AlexBank Visits Al-Nas Hospital Following Donation of Pediatric Ventilator to Support Critical Care Unit
Following its recent contribution of a pediatric ventilator to support the intensive care unit, AlexBank—part of the International Subsidiary Banks Division of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group—paid an official visit to Al-Nas Hospital. The initiative reflects the bank’s ongoing commitment to advancing sustainable healthcare and creating long-term social impact in alignment with the vision of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group.
The visit was attended by Paolo Vivona, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of AlexBank; Ayman Abbas, Treasurer and Board Member of Al-Nas Hospital; Reham El-Sayegh, Chief Executive of Resource Development at Al-Nas Hospital; Mariam El-Gamal, Head of Human Resources and Organization and Member of the Executive Committee at AlexBank; and Farida El-Kattan, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Creating Shared Value at AlexBank.
The visit reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to expanding access to healthcare services and strengthening impactful community investment through sustainable partnerships.
The pediatric ventilator plays a vital role in supporting children suffering from respiratory failure, severe chest infections, acute illnesses, or complications following major surgical procedures. The device is expected to help provide critical care for approximately 750 children annually from underserved communities, supporting life-saving treatments and complex surgical interventions.
