LG Introduces 2026 OLED evo TVs with Hyper Radiant Color Technology for Brighter, Clearer Viewing

LG Electronics has unveiled its new 2026 OLED evo TV lineup, delivering a significant leap in performance through enhanced brightness and reduced screen reflections to improve overall picture clarity.

Building on 13 consecutive years of leadership in OLED technology, LG introduces Hyper Radiant Color Technology, designed to boost luminance while preserving OLED’s signature strengths, including perfect blacks and highly accurate colors even in brightly lit environments.

The new lineup is powered by the α11 AI Processor Gen3, featuring LG’s Dual AI Engine, which provides advanced image processing capable of preserving natural textures while enhancing visual detail. Together, these innovations reinforce LG OLED evo as a premium benchmark for picture quality while delivering a more personalized and secure viewing experience through LG’s latest AI-powered platform.

Return of the Iconic Wallpaper TV

The 2026 lineup marks the return of one of LG’s most iconic designs — the LG OLED evo W6, also known as the Wallpaper TV, first introduced in 2017.

With an ultra-slim body measuring approximately 9 millimeters in thickness, the TV achieves its sleek profile through the miniaturization of internal components and a complete redesign of its internal architecture. An improved wall-mount system allows the screen to sit flush against the wall from edge to edge.

LG’s True Wireless technology offers greater flexibility in TV placement, as all inputs are connected through the Zero Connect Box, which can be positioned up to 10 meters away from the display while transmitting audio and video wirelessly in visually lossless 4K quality.

Hyper Radiant Color Technology Sets a New Benchmark

LG’s Hyper Radiant Color Technology establishes a new standard for OLED displays by enhancing brightness, color, and black levels while reducing reflections.

Powered by Brightness Booster Ultra, the Wallpaper TV achieves brightness levels up to 3.9 times higher than conventional OLED TVs. The screen has also been engineered to deliver the lowest reflectance among LG TVs, earning the Reflection Free Premium certification from Intertek.

These visual enhancements are driven by the α11 AI Processor Gen3, equipped with a Neural Processing Unit that is 5.6 times more powerful than previous generations. This processing power enables LG’s Dual AI Engine to simultaneously reduce noise while preserving natural textures for balanced and highly detailed images.

The Wallpaper TV has also received the iF Design Award 2026, recognizing its innovative integration of advanced technology and refined design.

LG Gallery+: Turning TVs into Digital Art

The LG Gallery+ service transforms the TV into a versatile interior design feature by offering access to more than 5,000 visual experiences, including artworks, cinematic scenes, gaming graphics, personal photos, and AI-generated images.

Paired with mood-matching background music, the display becomes both a creative expression platform and an element that enhances the ambiance of living spaces.

Advanced Gaming Performance

LG continues to strengthen its OLED gaming capabilities with support for 4K resolution at 165Hz, along with NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies for smooth, tear-free gameplay.

A 0.1-millisecond pixel response time combined with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) ensures ultra-responsive performance. The 2026 OLED evo lineup is also the first TV series to receive VESA’s DSC Gaming Certification for ultra-high refresh rates.

Personalized AI-Powered Viewing Experience

LG’s vision for the TV experience centers on intelligent personalization through its webOS smart platform.

With Voice ID, the TV can recognize users and automatically switch to a personalized home screen with tailored apps and content. The system also integrates Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot through LG’s Multi-AI capabilities, allowing users to interact with the TV through voice queries and receive customized responses.

All of these features are secured by LG Shield, a CES 2026 Innovation Award winner, designed to protect user data through advanced encryption and security technologies.
