881 New ICT Companies Established in Egypt in Q4 2025, Total Capital Issued Reaches EGP 487.87 Million
A total of 881 new companies in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector were established in Egypt during the period from October to December 2025, compared to 903 companies during the same period in 2024, according to the quarterly report issued by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The report indicated that the total issued capital for the newly registered companies reached EGP 487.87 million in Q4 2025, compared to EGP 712.35 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Data throughout 2025 show variations in the pace of company registrations, with 953 companies founded in Q1, 697 in Q2, and 765 in Q3. The total issued capital for new companies during these quarters was EGP 770.67 million, EGP 1.006 billion, and EGP 736.25 million, respectively.
The continued establishment of companies in Egypt’s ICT sector reflects the attractiveness of the market for technology and digital businesses, supported by expanding digital infrastructure, growing reliance on digital services, and government programs promoting startups and digital transformation.
The ICT sector remains one of the fastest-growing segments in Egypt’s economy, contributing to innovation, entrepreneurship, and the creation of new jobs in technology and digital services.
