Egyptian Gulf Bank Proposes EGP 410 Million Cash Dividend for FY2025
Egyptian Gulf Bank has proposed cash dividends totaling EGP 410 million for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025.
In a disclosure submitted to the Egyptian Exchange on Wednesday, the bank stated that the proposed distribution would be paid to shareholders in two tranches—an initial installment and an additional distribution.
According to the filing, distributable profits after adjustments and reserves amounted to approximately EGP 3.524 billion. Including retained earnings brought forward from the beginning of the fiscal year, total distributable profits reached EGP 5.524 billion.
The bank also allocated EGP 370.6 million as an employee profit-sharing portion and set aside EGP 354.8 million for the legal reserve. The proposed remuneration for the board of directors stands at approximately EGP 105.7 million.
Meanwhile, EGP 4.248 billion in profits will be retained and carried forward to the next fiscal year.
The bank’s consolidated financial statements showed net profits of EGP 4.18 billion in 2025, compared with EGP 2.55 billion in 2024. Net interest income rose to EGP 8.64 billion in 2025, up from EGP 6.13 billion in the previous year.
