HONOR Advances AI Vision at MWC 2026 with Robot Phone, Humanoid Robot and Magic V6

HONOR accelerated its Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) strategy at MWC 2026, unveiling a bold portfolio that bridges robotics innovation, flagship foldable engineering and AI-powered ecosystem devices. Anchored by its evolving ALPHA PLAN, the company introduced three interconnected pillars - Alpha Phone, Alpha Store and Alpha Lab - signaling a deeper push toward embodied intelligence and human-centric AI.

At the center of the announcement was a preview of the “Robot Phone,” a conceptual leap toward what HONOR describes as a new species of smartphone. Designed to merge embodied AI with robot-grade motion control and cinematic imaging, the device reimagines how future smartphones may integrate spatial awareness, movement and expressive interaction beyond static screens and voice commands.

Robot Phone: Embodied Intelligence in Motion

Robot Phone integrates multimodal perception, enabling it to identify sound, track movement and maintain visual awareness simultaneously. Through robot-grade motion control, it supports all-angle AI video calling that physically follows the user, while expressive gestures such as nodding, head shaking and synchronized motion to music introduce a new layer of human-like interaction.

Engineering such capabilities within a smartphone form factor required structural reinvention. HONOR developed a self-designed micro motor system compact enough to house an ultra-miniaturized 4DoF gimbal module. This hardware foundation powers a three-axis stabilization system designed for smooth movement in dynamic environments.

AI-driven camera features further extend its capabilities. Super Steady Video enhances stability during high-motion capture, AI Object Tracking enables real-time subject following, and AI SpinShot supports 90° and 180° intelligent rotational transitions for cinematic-style recording, even when operated single-handedly. Equipped with a 200MP sensor and stabilized gimbal camera architecture, Robot Phone aims to narrow the gap between smartphone videography and professional storytelling.

Together, these innovations position Robot Phone as a strategic step in HONOR’s long-term roadmap toward adaptive, motion-capable AI devices.

HONOR Magic V6: Redefining the Foldable Benchmark

While Robot Phone explores embodied AI, the new HONOR Magic V6 represents the brand’s most advanced foldable flagship to date.

Engineered with an ultra-slim 8.75mm closed profile, reinforced hinge architecture and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, Magic V6 balances durability with premium design. At its core lies HONOR’s fifth-generation silicon-carbon battery technology, developed in collaboration with ATL. With 25% silicon content, the battery achieves higher energy density within a slim foldable frame, delivering a 6,660mAh capacity - one of the largest in its class.

HONOR also showcased the Silicon-carbon Blade Battery concept, featuring 32% silicon content and 900+ Wh/L energy density, signaling readiness for foldables entering the 7,000mAh era.

Display innovation remains central to the device. Dual LTPO 2.0 panels measure 6.52 inches externally and 7.95 inches when unfolded, supporting adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rates and peak brightness levels up to 6,000 nits and 5,000 nits for HDR content. The inner screen incorporates ultra-thin flexible glass with SGS Minimized Crease Certification and a 44% crease depth reduction versus its predecessor. Complemented by a silicon nitride anti-reflection layer, 4320Hz PWM dimming and AI Defocus Display, Magic V6 emphasizes visual comfort alongside performance.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform and advanced vapor chamber cooling, Magic V6 delivers sustained performance for gaming, multitasking and productivity workloads, reinforcing its positioning as an AI-era foldable flagship.

Expanding the AI Ecosystem: MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14

Beyond smartphones, HONOR expanded its AI ecosystem with the launch of HONOR MagicPad 4 and HONOR MagicBook Pro 14.

MagicPad 4 features a 4.8mm ultra-slim profile, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 mobile platform and a 12.3-inch 3K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. AI-enhanced multitasking tools and cross-device collaboration capabilities enable seamless integration across multi-platform environments.

MagicBook Pro 14, powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, pairs a 14.6-inch OLED display with intelligent performance management and extended battery endurance, targeting creative professionals and high-productivity users.

Entering Consumer Robotics

In a further expansion of its embodied AI vision, HONOR introduced its first humanoid robot, marking a strategic move toward consumer-grade robotics. The company identified three core application scenarios - shopping assistance, workplace inspections and supportive companionship - leveraging its experience in smartphone user behavior and ecosystem integration to deliver personalized physical assistance from first interaction.

James Li, CEO of HONOR, stated that the company’s human-centric approach acts as a “lighthouse” guiding AI development through the dual dimensions of intelligence quotient and emotional quotient, integrating multiple forms of intelligence across hardware and software.

Availability

HONOR Magic V6 will roll out in select markets during the second half of 2026, with regional availability details to be confirmed. MagicPad 4 will launch in Grey and White starting at €699, with configurations and promotional offers varying by region.

Through Robot Phone, humanoid robotics, flagship foldable innovation and AI-powered ecosystem expansion, HONOR’s MWC 2026 announcements collectively signal a broader ambition: integrating embodied intelligence across digital and physical experiences to redefine the next chapter of intelligent devices.
