Accenture Opens New Global Innovation Hub in Riyadh

Accenture has expanded its footprint in Saudi Arabia with the launch of a new Global Innovation Hub at its regional headquarters in the King Abdullah Financial District, reinforcing its long-term commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s digital and AI-driven transformation.

The new center is positioned as a strategic engine for enterprise-wide reinvention, enabling clients to scale artificial intelligence adoption and build future-ready workforces aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.

Serving as the core of Accenture’s operations in the Kingdom, the hub fosters a collaborative environment designed to help Saudi organizations transition from AI experimentation to full-scale value realization. As part of Accenture’s global innovation network, the center provides hands-on access to emerging technologies and industry-specific solutions across multiple sectors.

The facility will also act as a launchpad for key sovereign initiatives, including collaborations with Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Oracle to accelerate digital innovation. These partnerships aim to migrate critical workloads, enable secure AI and cloud prototyping, and scale next-generation computing capabilities within the Kingdom.

Accenture highlighted its collaboration with the General Organization for Social Insurance as a case in point, noting that the entity leveraged the hub to fast-track its advanced AI agenda, successfully moving from initial ideation to rapid production deployment.

Strategically located in KAFD, the center benefits from a world-class ecosystem of leading local and international institutions. The district’s advanced infrastructure and positioning as a premier global destination for business and lifestyle place the innovation hub at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s evolving economic landscape, further strengthening KAFD’s role as a catalyst for economic transformation.

On the talent front, the hub’s technical capabilities complement Accenture’s LearnVantage platform - a $1 billion global investment focused on AI-powered upskilling. The platform is designed to bridge digital talent gaps by delivering large-scale, personalized learning journeys that accelerate workforce transformation across the Kingdom. To maximize impact, Accenture collaborates with global technology leaders such as SAP and Amazon Web Services to provide comprehensive certification and skills development ecosystems aligned with national priorities.

Through strategic partnerships with key national entities, Accenture is also accelerating large-scale AI capability development. This includes a landmark agreement with a leading government organization to leverage the LearnVantage Academy in training more than 1,500 local AI specialists, enhancing national talent readiness and advancing digital transformation across sectors.

Dr. Majed Al-Tuwaijri, Country Managing Director of Accenture in Saudi Arabia, said the Riyadh expansion reflects the company’s strong belief in the Kingdom’s leadership in the global AI renaissance. He emphasized that the hub is not merely a workspace, but a co-innovation platform that integrates digital core capabilities, skills development, and strategic partnerships to ensure Saudi institutions can both adapt to and lead technological change.

Meanwhile, Sultan Al-Obaidah, Chief Commercial Officer of King Abdullah Financial District, described KAFD as an ideal base for Accenture’s expansion, given its proximity to leading local and global enterprises. He noted that the move reinforces KAFD’s position as a regional hub for innovation and highlights the shared commitment to advancing Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation in line with Vision 2030.

Accenture’s expanding presence in the Kingdom is further reflected in its workforce growth, with the number of Saudi employees increasing by nearly 60 percent over the past two years. The company said this growth underscores its role as a trusted partner in building a diverse, highly skilled workforce to support the Kingdom’s sustainable future.
