The Maker × OPPO Dream League Expands Commitment to Egypt’s Football Future

OPPO has announced the continuation and expansion of its strategic collaboration with The Maker through the “The Maker × OPPO Dream League,” reinforcing a long-term commitment to developing Egypt’s next generation of football talent.

Building on the strong momentum of previous editions, OPPO aims to support more than 1,200 talented children in 2026, further strengthening its corporate social responsibility footprint in the Egyptian market. The program has already exceeded expectations in terms of nationwide scouting reach, community engagement, and measurable development outcomes.

In its new phase, the initiative underscores a firm commitment to equal opportunity by providing girls with the same professional platform, visibility, and development pathways as boys. This inclusive approach ensures that young female athletes receive tangible opportunities to advance their football ambitions, reflecting a broader vision of empowerment and social inclusion.

As a global partner of UEFA, OPPO’s engagement with football extends beyond traditional sponsorship. In Egypt, the Dream League represents a sustainable investment in youth development, fostering discipline, education, mental resilience, and teamwork. In a country where football is deeply embedded in the national culture, the initiative creates structured pathways for young athletes to pursue their aspirations and truly “Make Their Moment.”

Originally launched as a nationwide scouting platform, the program was designed to identify, evaluate, and develop emerging football talent across multiple age categories. Through a structured competition model and a professional scouting framework, it has established credible development pipelines for both boys and girls, aligning with OPPO’s broader commitment to youth empowerment, innovation, and meaningful community impact through sport.

The scale and quality of participation highlight the program’s growing impact. More than 5,000 young players from across Egypt engaged in the scouting process. Following a rigorous professional evaluation, 29 high-potential boys and girls were selected to join The Maker Incubator, where they are currently receiving advanced training, mentorship, and structured development support transforming grassroots participation into real career-building opportunities.

Today, The Maker × OPPO Dream League stands as a scalable model for future talent identification initiatives. By combining wide community outreach, professional standards, and purpose-driven brand engagement, the program reflects OPPO’s belief that technology is not only about innovation, but about creating lasting societal impact enhancing lives, unlocking opportunities, and inspiring communities to thrive.
