Orange Egypt Launches Its Largest Community Initiative in Ramadan 2026 to Support Thousands of Families Nationwide

Orange Egypt announced the launch of its largest integrated community program during Ramadan 2026, aiming to support thousands of underprivileged families across various Egyptian governorates. The initiative includes a wide range of humanitarian and development programs designed to ease living burdens and strengthen social solidarity throughout the holy month.

These initiatives are part of the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which focuses on achieving sustainable developmental impact through broad institutional partnerships with leading charitable organizations, reinforcing Orange Egypt’s role as an active partner in community development and improving quality of life for vulnerable groups.

Supporting Basic Living Needs

The program includes providing essential food supplies to families in Upper Egypt and the Delta, in cooperation with the Egyptian Food Bank, Orman Association, and Al‑Joud Foundation. Distribution follows organized plans to ensure fair and dignified delivery throughout Ramadan, with university students from Enactus supporting the distribution process as part of their long-term partnership with Orange Egypt.

Ramadan Iftar Tent

Orange Egypt also launched a Ramadan Iftar tent in the city of 10th of Ramadan in Sharkia Governorate, offering daily iftar meals and distributing hot meals to surrounding areas to ensure organized and respectful service for eligible families.

Eid Clothing for Children

The initiatives further include providing Eid clothing for children in collaboration with Ammar Al‑Ard Foundation and Misr El Kheir Foundation, bringing joy to children and allowing them to celebrate Eid with dignity.

Doubling Donations via Orange Cash

For the third consecutive year, Orange Egypt launched a campaign to double customer donations made through Orange Cash during Ramadan. The additional contributions support organizations providing free medical services, including Misr El Kheir, Al‑Nas Hospital, and the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, enabling customers to multiply the impact of their giving.

Maha Nagi, Vice President for Public Relations, Media, and Corporate Communications at Orange Egypt, stated that this year’s Ramadan program represents one of the company’s largest community initiative packages nationwide, emphasizing direct outreach to underprivileged families through strong partnerships and a focus on sustainable humanitarian impact aligned with Egypt Vision 2030.
