Dubai Taxi Company and Bolt Partner with National Taxi to Advance Smart Mobility in Dubai
Dubai Taxi Company, in cooperation with its strategic partner Bolt, announced the signing of a strategic agreement with the National Taxi Company, marking a new step in advancing the future of urban mobility in the United Arab Emirates and enhancing the app-based vehicle booking experience for residents and visitors across Dubai.
The agreement was signed by Mansour Rahma Al Falah, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, and Tawfiq Metri, General Manager of the National Taxi Company, representing another milestone in Dubai’s journey toward smarter, more accessible, and customer-centric transportation solutions.
Under the agreement, 1,823 vehicles from the National Taxi Company will be integrated into the Bolt platform, contributing to fleet expansion, broader operational coverage, improved vehicle availability, reduced waiting times, and enhanced overall operational efficiency. The integration ensures a more reliable service, particularly during peak hours, and further strengthens Bolt’s position as one of the leading and fast-growing smart mobility platforms in Dubai.
Commenting on the partnership, Mansour Rahma Al Falah stated that Dubai Taxi Company is committed to forming strategic partnerships that elevate customer experience while strengthening the emirate’s mobility ecosystem. He noted that adding National Taxi vehicles to the Bolt platform will support the existing fleet of around 10,000 vehicles and expand access to taxi services through digital booking systems. This integration also contributes to Dubai Government’s goal of converting 80% of street-hailing trips into electronic bookings.
For his part, Tawfiq Metri expressed his satisfaction with adding the National Taxi fleet to the Bolt platform, highlighting that the partnership enhances fleet utilization and operational efficiency. He added that smart technologies and real-time matching of supply and demand will help reduce idle time, increase driver productivity, deliver faster and more reliable services, and support sustainable mobility by optimizing routes and minimizing unnecessary mileage.
