EcoTech Appoints Mohamed Hanafi as Chief Operating Officer

EcoTech has announced the appointment of Mohamed Hanafi as Chief Operating Officer (COO), aiming to enhance operational efficiency, support expansion plans, and accelerate digital transformation across the company, in line with its strategy for sustainable growth in the Egyptian market.

Hanafi brings over 14 years of professional experience in technical operations, enterprise resource planning (ERP), and systems development. He had been serving as Operations Manager at EcoTech since May 2024, contributing to the restructuring of internal processes and improving operational performance.

Prior to joining EcoTech, Hanafi served as Technical Operations Manager at iSky Development for more than six years, leading teams responsible for implementing and customizing ERP solutions, primarily Odoo. He also provided technical and functional consultancy for Odoo/OpenERP systems at Al Bandary Real Estate in Qatar and gained early experience as an OpenERP developer, Android developer, and ASP.NET applications developer.

Hanafi began his career as a software engineer, developing integrated accounting systems for industrial companies, which gave him strong expertise in connecting technical solutions with operational and financial requirements. Academically, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a specialization in Management Information Systems from Alexandria University and is currently pursuing an MBA at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport to strengthen his managerial and strategic skills.

His appointment as COO is expected to support EcoTech’s plans to optimize operational infrastructure, improve team performance, and expand technical services, enhancing the company’s competitiveness in digital solutions and enterprise transformation both within Egypt and internationally.
