UAE PropTech Startup Smart Bricks Raises $5 Million Pre-Seed Round Led by a16z Speedrun
Smart Bricks, a UAE-based PropTech startup specializing in advanced artificial intelligence infrastructure for real estate investment, has announced the successful closing of a $5 million Pre-Seed funding round, led by US venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z Speedrun), with participation from venture funds and angel investors across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
Founded in 2024, Smart Bricks aims to fundamentally re-engineer how real estate assets are discovered, evaluated, and transacted by building an advanced AI lab focused on Agentic AI systems. These autonomous reasoning systems enable capital to identify, assess, and execute real estate investments end-to-end, compressing traditional investment cycles from three to six months into just minutes.
Despite being one of the world’s largest asset classes, real estate remains largely underserved by AI-native operating systems. The sector relies on fragmented data—more than 100 million disparate data sources globally and over 1,000 material variables—yet most investors continue to make decisions based on limited data points and broker-driven narratives.
Smart Bricks addresses this structural gap by providing an AI-powered operating layer that brings institutional-grade precision and transparency to a broader base of investors. Its platform ingests over one million public and proprietary data sources and continuously analyzes supply, pricing, liquidity, regulatory frameworks, and risk across global markets.
Using Agentic AI, the system filters and surfaces the top 0.1% of assets based on risk-adjusted returns, while automating up to 99% of the investment workflow, from valuation, underwriting, and due diligence to negotiation, financing, and post-acquisition support. The result is a unified, AI-driven operating system for cross-border real estate acquisition and ownership.
