Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority Launches Digital Platform for Regulatory Reporting

The Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), chaired by Dr. Mohamed Farid, has launched a new digital platform for receiving regulatory reports from companies and entities under its supervision. This initiative reflects the FRA’s commitment to digital transformation and the modernization of oversight mechanisms for non-banking financial activities.

The platform represents an initial phase ahead of mandating all non-banking financial sector companies to submit their regulatory reports electronically. It is designed to enhance efficiency, accelerate data flow, and improve the accuracy and quality of information submitted to the FRA.

The system allows companies to submit regulatory reports and documents electronically, incorporating e-signatures validated in partnership with Delta for Electronic Systems, an authorized provider certified by the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

The digital platform further strengthens data exchange, facilitates rapid and precise supervisory analysis, and unifies communication channels between the FRA and regulated entities. By supporting evidence-based decision-making, the initiative aligns with Egypt’s broader strategy of digital transformation and enhances the sustainability of the non-banking financial sector.
