Apple Unveils First Products of 2026 with AirTag 2 and New Black Unity Apple Watch Band
Apple has unveiled its first official products of 2026 in an early move that signals a year packed with new releases. The company announced the launch of the second-generation AirTag alongside a new Apple Watch band as part of the Black Unity Connection collection.
The new AirTag comes with notable upgrades, including a longer and more precise tracking range, a louder built-in speaker to make locating lost items easier, as well as overall improvements in performance and security compared to the first-generation model introduced several years ago. These enhancements aim to elevate the user experience, particularly for tracking keys, bags, and personal belongings.
At the same time, Apple introduced the new Black Unity Connection Braided Solo Loop band for Apple Watch, featuring a braided design and colors inspired by the Black Unity collection. The band reflects Apple’s ongoing approach of combining aesthetic design with cultural expression through special-edition accessories.
Apple confirmed that both products are available for order through its online store and the Apple Store app in many countries, with in-store availability expected to begin in the coming days.
