Ayman El-Saadany, External affairs director at Vodafone Egypt, emphasized the crucial role of media in raising public awareness, affirming the company’s commitment to maintaining continuous dialogue and engagement with journalists and media professionals.

Speaking during Vodafone Egypt’s Media Forum «Aswan 2026», El-Saadany highlighted that the choice of Aswan as the host city carries strong humanitarian and developmental significance, pointing to inspiring national symbols such as Professor Magdi Yacoub and the Aswan Heart Centre as examples of meaningful societal impact.

El-Saadany explained that Vodafone Egypt’s core philosophy is centered on connecting people to people and connecting technology to everyday life in ways that simplify and improve citizens’ lives. Over the past five years, the company has significantly expanded its portfolio of digital solutions targeting key sectors.

In education, Vodafone Egypt has developed a digital learning platform that provides rich, interactive content to support both students and teachers, currently serving around 2.5 million users. The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting education through accessible and inclusive digital tools.

Within the healthcare sector, El-Saadany noted that Vodafone Egypt has introduced digital health solutions now serving approximately 600 healthcare facilities, contributing to improved service efficiency and wider access to quality healthcare.

He also confirmed that Vodafone Egypt acts as the technology partner of the Egyptian Museum, reinforcing the company’s role in supporting culture and heritage through advanced digital infrastructure.

On the commercial front, El-Saadany revealed that Vodafone Egypt’s customer base has reached 53 million subscribers, including 11 million active mobile wallet users. The company recorded revenues of EGP 55 billion during the first half of the year, representing a 46% increase compared to the previous six-month period.

He concluded by underscoring Vodafone Egypt’s commitment to transparency and responsible business practices, highlighting the company’s sustainability report as a key reference that reflects its economic, social, and environmental impact.
