eYouth Expands into Iraq, Launches First Arabic Digital Learning Platform for Workforce Skills
eYouth, the regional edtech platform operating across the Middle East and Africa since 2016, announced its expansion into the Iraqi market through the launch of “eYouth Iraq”, marking the introduction of the country’s first Arabic-language digital learning platform dedicated to developing job-market–oriented skills.
The expansion comes through a strategic partnership with Al-Majal Group, one of Iraq’s leading private sector conglomerates, in a move aimed at strengthening workforce readiness and human capital development in the country.
Founded in Egypt in 2016, eYouth has since expanded across the region, particularly into Saudi Arabia and the UAE, reaching more than 4 million learners in 21 countries through accessible, high-quality, and customized digital education solutions.
The partnership represents a key milestone in supporting Iraq’s workforce preparedness by delivering high-quality training programs aligned with the needs of multiple economic sectors, and specifically designed to address the evolving demands of the local labor market. The platform will focus on the most in-demand skills, supporting Iraqi youth, fresh graduates, and experienced professionals seeking to upskill and remain competitive in a rapidly changing economy.
Through this collaboration, eYouth will leverage its extensive expertise in digital learning, workforce training, and professional development, while Al-Majal Group contributes its deep understanding of the Iraqi market and strong private-sector network. In parallel, eYouth Iraq will work closely with relevant government entities, ministries, public institutions, and private employers to ensure alignment between training programs, national development priorities, and real labor market needs.
The platform will primarily deliver Arabic-language educational content, developed in line with international quality standards, ensuring accessibility while adhering to global best practices in curriculum design, digital pedagogy, and learning outcomes. Beyond technical and professional skills, the initiative will emphasize employability, practical application, and direct linkage with employer requirements.
Commenting on the partnership, Mostafa Abdel Latif, Co-founder and CEO of eYouth, said:
“Establishing eYouth Iraq marks a strategic step toward building a sustainable talent development ecosystem in the country. Our goal is to work hand in hand with government institutions and private-sector partners to ensure education is directly connected to real labor market needs. This platform will empower Iraqi youth with practical, future-ready skills and open new pathways toward meaningful employment and active economic participation.”
For his part, Ali Agha Jaafar, Chairman and CEO of Al-Majal Group, stated:
“Human capital development is a cornerstone of Iraq’s long-term growth and economic resilience. This partnership with eYouth reflects our commitment to supporting Iraqi youth through high-quality, accessible education that responds to the real needs of employers. By collaborating with government and private-sector stakeholders, we aim to create sustainable value for individuals, businesses, and the national economy.”
The partnership also supports broader efforts to strengthen local talent pipelines, enhance private-sector competitiveness, and contribute to Iraq’s economic and social development through scalable, modern learning solutions. The platform is expected to roll out in phases throughout 2026, with gradual expansion across sectors and regions nationwide.
