First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt Launches New POS Service to Boost Digital Payments
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) Egypt announced the launch of its electronic Point-of-Sale (POS) service, marking a strategic step in the bank’s mission to provide comprehensive payment acceptance solutions across the country. The service is designed to enable merchants to accept payments securely and conveniently, covering card transactions and contactless payments, in line with the bank’s broader digital transformation strategy.
This launch follows the success of the bank’s existing online payment product, Access, expanding digital payment solutions to include in-store POS systems to support overall business growth in electronic payments.
In this regard, Mariam Al-Samni, Head of Retail Banking at First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt, stated: “This step reflects our ongoing commitment to empower merchants, support economic growth, and enhance Egypt’s digital payments ecosystem.
