ITIDA and JICA Open Applications for Egyptian Startups to Join Official Delegation to SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026
Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and through the NINJA Project, has announced the opening of applications for Egyptian startups to join the official Egyptian delegation to SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026, one of Asia’s leading global innovation and technology exhibitions.
The delegation aims to enable Egyptian startups to enter the Japanese market by offering high-level exposure opportunities, organizing curated business meetings with major corporations and investors, and supporting the formation of strategic partnerships that enhance international growth and expansion prospects.
The exhibition is scheduled to take place from April 27 to 29, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan. ITIDA has set January 26, 2026, as the deadline for applications, with participating startups to be selected based on specific technical and commercial criteria.
ITIDA emphasized that participation in the mission represents a unique opportunity for Egyptian startups to gain insights into the latest global trends in innovation and technology, while building direct relationships with Japan’s business ecosystem—strengthening competitiveness and expanding their presence in international markets.
