Egypt’s Housing Ministry Unveils New Investment Land Offering in New Cities

Egypt’s Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities has revealed details of a new offering of investment land plots across several new cities, as part of efforts to boost private-sector participation and support urban development.

In New Sohag City, the ministry announced the availability of multiple land plots for various activities, including an administrative plot spanning 2,285 square meters priced at EGP 14,000 per meter, an educational plot covering 8,667 square meters at EGP 5,670 per meter, and a mixed-use commercial, administrative, and residential plot of 5,990 square meters priced at EGP 14,080 per meter. Additional offerings include a commercial-administrative plot of 5,215 square meters at EGP 15,615 per meter and a pure commercial plot of 1,882 square meters priced at EGP 24,230 per meter.

Meanwhile, Engineer Ahmed Al-Arabi, Head of the Capital Gardens City Development Authority, announced the launch of several prime investment opportunities via the Investors Services Portal, as part of the city’s plan to expand commercial and administrative services and enhance its position as one of the most promising new cities in East Cairo.

Applications are submitted entirely online through the Investors Services Portal until January 15, 2026, reflecting the government’s push toward digital transformation and streamlined investment procedures.

The offering includes:

Plot No. 212, located in the Boulevard Area, covering 644 square meters for commercial-administrative use.

Plot No. 77, within Service Center No. 13 in the social housing area (2,350 feddans zone), spanning 39,506 square meters, designated for a commercial hypermarket.

The Capital Gardens Development Authority emphasized that the offering is open to serious investors, in line with Egypt’s broader vision to maximize investment opportunities in new urban communities and accelerate sustainable development.
