CIB Egypt Tops EGX Main Market Trading with EGP 1.026 Billion in Weekly Turnover
The share of Commercial International Bank (CIB Egypt) led trading activity on the main market of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) during last week’s sessions, excluding block trades, recording total trading value of approximately EGP 1.026 billion.
CIB’s trading volume reached 10.014 million shares, placing the stock at the top of the list of the most actively traded equities by value, reflecting sustained investor interest in the banking sector.
South Valley Cement ranked second, posting trading value of EGP 761.515 million, with a total traded volume of 80.902 million shares.
The third position was secured by the Arab Company for Asset Management and Development, which recorded trading value of EGP 751.7 million, supported by a high trading volume of 396.79 million shares.
Egyptian Electric Cables came in fourth place, with total trading value reaching EGP 602.8 million and a traded volume of 190.54 million shares.
Talaat Moustafa Group Holding rounded out the top five most traded stocks on the main market, recording trading value of EGP 599.86 million, with a total volume of 7.739 million shares.
The weekly performance highlights continued activity across diversified sectors on the Egyptian Exchange, with banking, industrial, and real estate stocks attracting significant liquidity from market participants.
